KUCHING: A kind neighbour alerted an education consultant of unidentified men loitering at the ground floor of his house at Jalan Keranji here on Tuesday evening.
The victim rushed home immediately to find his fences and the windows wide open and the house ransacked.
Afterwards after going through his things, he realised that he had lost more than RM11,000 worth of cash and valuables.
The missing items included computers, mobile phones, cards such as credit cards, bank cards and ATM cards.
He also lost cash worth RM600, $22 and RMB700.
A police report was lodged and police are investigating.
