Man seeking sex ends up RM800 poorer

SIBU: Police are on the hunt for three persons who had robbed a 52-year-old man of RM800 when he purportedly sought for sex with a prostitute.
Sibu OCPD, asst com Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the victim, who is a married man, after getting his pay at 12.30pm on Sunday (June 9) was
walking along Jalan Central here when a woman waved him for sex.

“After agreeing to pay the woman between RM50 and RM60 for sex, the duo walked up to a rented room. However, three men suddenly showed up,” he
said.

One of them armed with a pen knife asked the victim to surrender his money to them.

“The victim gave RM50 but this was turned down by the men as the amount was too small. They then snatched his wallet which contained RM800 and
ran away,” Stanley added.

The victim then lodged a police report at the police post in UTC (Urban Transformation Centre) Central Market here.

Stanley said the case is being investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code for armed robbery.
