KUCHING: RPR Batu Kawa Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) in collaboration with Recreation Club of RPR Batu Kawa held a “Minda Cergas 2017”(Active Minds) programme at Dewan Perpaduan, RPR Batu Kawa near here, last Sunday.
The programme was officiated at by Political Secretary to the Chief Minister, Tan Kai who represented Minister of Local Government and Housing, Professor Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian.
“It is a good event to strengthen ties among the various communities,” said Tan Kai.
He added that the people also have the opportunity get a free health screening and consultant during the event.
He also took the opportunity by wish mothers a Happy Mother’s Day, especially those at the event.
Among the activities held were colouring contest for pre-school children, Futsal competition for boys under 12 years old and an exhibition by the Batu Kawa Health Clinic and National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK).
