Marquez claims world Moto2 title, Binder wins Malaysia GP leg

SEPANG: Spain’s Alex Marquez of EG 0,0 Marc VDS claimed the Moto2 world championship title as South African Brad Binder of Red Bull KTM Ajo won the Moto2 race of the 2019 Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) at Sepang Circuit today.

The 23-year-old Spaniard came in second, 0.758 seconds behind Binder who clocked in at 38 minutes 07.843 seconds while Thomas Luthi representing Dynavolt Intact GP team came in third place.

Malaysia’s Adam Norrodin however did not finish the race after being involved in a crash after the fifth lap. – Bernama
