SIBU: Following the increase in positive Covid-19 cases in Sibu Jaya, the Ministry of Health (MOH) will conduct mass screening at Sibu Jaya market starting tomorrow, said state Health director Dr Chin Zin Hing.
“We will conduct a large-scale screening to enable early isolation to be carried out as well as to prevent it from further spreading,” he explained when contacted today.
He added that this effort proves MOH is committed to combating the increase of Covid-19 positive cases in Sibu.
In the meantime, he advised the residents of Sibu Jaya to give their full cooperation to health workers in an effort to break the chain of this deadly virus in Sibu.
“We do not want it to become like the Pasai Cluster if drastic action is not taken,” Dr Chin stressed.
