KUCHING: MASwings and event organiser Place Borneo recently announced a special promotion for the Miri Country Music Fest (MCMF) happening on Nov 25 to 26 at Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club Miri.
Travellers arriving in Miri on MASwings on Nov 25 and 26 will be entitled to a 50 per cent discount for walk-in tickets for MCMF by showing their digital or printed boarding pass at the festival entrance.
MCMF this year guarantees an unforgettable country music experience with several of the best country music artistes in the region such as Tantowi Yahya, Lyia Meta, Johnny Loda Trio, Cambodia Country Band and many more.
Festival-goers will also get to enjoy delicious local fusion and ethnic food as well as traditional arts and crafts at the venue.
Moreover, in true MCMF tradition, best dressed cowboys and cowgirls will also be rewarded.
Festival-goers are also encouraged to bring and donate used children’s book to the MCMF Buku Project – a corporate social responsibility effort to increase literacy at rural schools, namely SMK Long Lama and Tadika Long Latet.
