KUCHING: Maxis is making digitalisation easier for businesses by bringing resources together in one convenient location for the UsahaWIRA nationwide roadshow.

The roadshow offers opportunities to explore solutions on digital marketing, electronic point-of-sale, remote working, among others, by Maxis Business and its partners, including AmBank, BSN, MDEC and the Malaysia Retail Chain Association.

Maxis head of SME Segment Kevin Lee said it was important for businesses to understand that digitalisation did not need to cost a lot, and that businesses could not afford to be left behind digitally.

“This is not just another programme, but a great opportunity for SMEs to be inspired by the journeys of their fellow entrepreneurs, and lessons learnt.

“At Maxis, we have helped more than 25,000 SMEs through the SMEs Digitalisation Grant and we hope to encourage more to come on board so that we can guide them at every step of the way,” he said.

Following the first stop in Connexion Conference and Event Centre in Kuala Lumpur, the next schedule stop would be at Renaissance Hotel in Johor Bahru (Aug 10), Eastin Hotel, Penang (Aug 17), H Elite Design Hotel in Kota Bahru (Aug20) and Imperial Hotel, Kuching (Aug 24).
