MBKS to provide 12 motorcycle sheds

Wee hands over a Kenyalang Gold Card (KGC) to a resident of the KMC flats.

KUCHING: Works for constructing twelve new motorcycle for the residence of KMC flats have started yesterday.

The motorcycle shed is estimated to cost around RM200,000 with the duration of construction to be completed by October 2020.

“Hopefully, the project will be done in the next 10 weeks and completed in October this year before the rainy season,” said Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng when inspecting pictures of the proposed motorcycle sheds at Sebuyau Block in KMC Flat.

The sheds will provide a better and safer parking space for the motorcylces owned by 532 residents at the KMS flats

During Wee’s visit, the Kenyalang Gold Cards were also distributed by the MBKS staff to the senior citizens there.

 “We will also be giving out face masks to the residents, a courtesy sponsorship by Kuching Dinamik,” added the mayor.

Also present were the contractors of the proposed motorcycle sheds.
