MIRI: The Malaysia Civil Defence Force (MCDF) successfully rescued a kitten that was trapped inside a drain in front of a house located in Taman Bumiko here today (May 31).
In response to an alert received at 8.22 am, a team of MCDF members swiftly arrived at the scene in the morning to carry out the rescue operation.
According to a statement, the homeowner, who is 51 years old, was at her car porch when she heard the distressed cries of the kitten, prompting her to seek help.
The rescue operation only took five minutes and the kitten had been saved.
