SIBU: A media briefing was held at the Media Centre on the second floor of the Indoor Stadium on Wednesday (Sep 15).
It was to ensure smooth media management during the Malaysia Day celebration.
The briefing was delivered by the Director of Media and Corporate Communications Division of the Information Department (JaPen) Malaysia Putrajaya, Dr Amerjit Singh; Administrative Officer of Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), Samuel Simon and Assistant Director of Media and Corporate Communications Division , JaPen, Putrajaya, Mohd Dzikrullah Junus.
Immediately after the briefing, members of the media were taken on a tour round the Malaysia Day celebration site.
The visit was to determine and identify the position set aside for each media agency that covered the event.
