KUCHING: Santubong Zone Community Leaders and Ketua Kaum (KMKK) will hold a meeting with the Land and Survey Department soon.
Rural Electricity Assistant Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi said this was to get feedback on certain issues.
He said during a meeting with the Penghulu and Village Chiefs Santubong Zone in the Pantai Damai area, several matters involving land were discussed.
“The matters discussed also involved a proposal for the Village Expansion Scheme, the measurement of the kampung land and the issue of land grants,” he said when contacted yesterday.
He also said other matters discussed included the applications for cemeteries and Resettlement Scheme. In addition, the request for native land domain and the status ofBumiputera Land Rights were also given attention.
Also present were Penghulu Suhaili Kifli, Penghulu Wahid Mat, Penghulu Madli Sah, Penghulu Amin Amat and village heads in Santubong.
