BINTANGOR: Meradong assemblyman, Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing, has confirmed that incentives for exceptional academic and co-curricular accomplishments will continue to be offered every year.
According to Ding, this is to inspire students and encourage them to strive for higher levels of education.
He said this during the ‘Ngiling Bidai’ Dinner and Academic and Co-curricular Incentive Presentation held here recently.
He also expressed his sincere appreciation to the Taman Bintang Bintangor Dayak Welfare, Social, and Cultural Committee for organising this event, which serves as a platform to foster stronger community ties.
Prior to the event, Ding attended the Dragon Boat Festival Celebration in Sarikei, where he not only participated but also recognised and rewarded senior citizens in the Nam Kiew area through the Kwang Wai Siew Sarikei Association.
