DALAT: The construction of the Mini Waterfront for Kampung Tanam Dalat located on the riverbank of Batang Oya is now in progress.
It would be a new landmark for the village which is located about five minutes’ drive from Dalat Bazaar.
Once completed, it could also become a meeting place for the villagers and visitors alike.
The waterfront is also suitable for conducting social and recreational activities including generate income for entrepreneurs.
The waterfront, which is believed to be a two-in-one structure, would function as a retaining wall to prevent soil erosion and beautify its surroundings.
