KUCHING: Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sri Aman chairman Leon Jimat Donald met Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad recently and highlighted a few issues regarding the current situation of the Sri Aman Hospital.
‘I highlighted the delay in the construction of the hospital. And I also informed him of the need to increase the dialysis machines to meet the needs of increasing number of patients requiring treatment in the hospital.”

Leon said Dr Dzulkefly promised to check with his ministry officials whether there was space in the hospital to house more dialysis machines.
Leon said he also brought to the minister’s attention the need to change a few laboratory machines that were out of order, namely two full blood count machines, two coagulation machines and  one urinalysis machine.

The minister, he said, immediately approved the requests.

Leon pointed out that it was vital for all the hospital equipment to be in good order while waiting for the new hospital to be completed.
