KUCHING: Delegates from the Ministry of Utilities led by its Minister, Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom yesterday a courtesy visit on the Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Johari Tun Openg at his office at the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Building here.
The purposes of the courtesy visit were to brief the Chief Minister on the Utilities Award and Appreciation Night and invite him to grace the event. During the special event, which will take place at the Waterfront Hotel here, awards will be presented to the utilities departments for their services and achievements.
177 recipients from the Kuching Water Board (KWB), Sibu Water Board (SWB), Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB), Ministry of Utilities (MOU) and Rural Area Water Supply Department (JBALB) will receive the awards.
