KUCHING: More than 120 youth, sports, and entrepreneurship development programmes will be conducted under the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneur Development this year.

These will be held throughout the state including in rural and remote areas.

Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah shared his ministry had recently organised the MYSED Go Rural @ Long Singut programme on June 24 and 25 which saw participations of 100 youth and members of the public in Long Singut, Kapit.

He said although the journey to Long Singut took nine hours using land and travel transport, various activities were successfully implemented during the two-day programme.

“I am very happy because such programmes give meaningful and significant impact in reflecting the level of care and commitment of the ministry in carrying out reforms for the better good,” he said during the ministry’s Raya Gawai 2022 celebration gathering last night according to a report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS).
