Miri Central Market closed for three days

MIRI: Miri Central Market at Jalan Brooke here will be temporarily closed for three days starting from Tuesday (May 25) for thorough cleaning and sanitation.

This was announced by the Miri City Council (MCC) in a statement.

This included all stalls, lock up shops and the Miri Open-Air Cooked Food and Drink Stalls Section. They will resume trading on May 28.

The council reminded all the stall holders and the general public to practise personal hygiene, maintain social distancing and wear face masks.

They should check their body temperatures and check in using the MySejahtera App or registration books before entering any markets, tamu and cooked food centre, it added.
