MIRI: The Miri City Council (MCC) will launch its transformation plan, aimed at equipping the council staff to tackle challenges with a positive mindset and achieve desired outcomes.

Mayor Adam Yii said, the plan, developed through the newly launched MCC Transformation Lab will enable the council to face challenges confidently and produce greater results.

He described the lab’s launch as a strategic approach by the council to fulfill its goals of transforming the city.

To ensure effective consultancy services, he said, the council has engaged PEMANDU Associates Sdn Bhd, a consultant firm headed by Datuk Seri Idris Jala.

According to Yii, the lab programme will take place over three weeks at the Miri City Community Library in Myy Mall Lutong.

“I believe that selected members for the Lab programme could embrace transformation and deliver results without wasting any time. We ensure that plans turn into action. And action, into results,” Yii said during his opening speech at the MCC Transformation Lab programme launching today (June 19).
