MIRI: The Miri City Council is organising a sunset tea party for Sarawak My Second Home Programme (S-MM2H) expatriates residing here.

Mayor Adam Yii Siew Sang said the purpose of the sunset tea party was for international residents and city council to get to know each other.

“We would like to hear reasons why programme holders and expatriates choose to reside in Miri,” he said yesterday (April 12).

Adding on, he explained the get-together was also for the council to obtain feedback on any issues relating to Miri city.

“Miri City Council is actively promoting Miri city as the destination of choice for the S-MM2H programme in Sarawak.

“We hope that the programme holders and expatriates can help to promote Miri City Council’s S-MM2H programme to their friends and social network,” he said.

He said the sunset tea party was open to all international residents here and it would be held on April 30 at the Miri City Hall Rooftop from 5.30pm to 8pm.
