MIRI: The state government has allocated RM3.7 million to the Miri City Council (MCC) to implement 34 projects in the Senadin constituency,

State Transport Minister Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin stated the allocation will be used to repair, maintain, as well as resurface damaged and potholed roads, including roundabouts and road junctions.

“The maintenance involves areas under the jurisdiction of the council, all of which were applied for last year,” he said after inspecting the road condition at Jalan Bulatan Taman Permy Teknologi Miri and Jalan Tudan Miri on Monday (Apr 25).

He reminded the public who have problems related to roads and drainage in their respective areas to inform their representatives or through the local Community and Tribal Leaders (KMKK) to take action.

Lee also disclosed that eight out of the 34 projects which were applied for last year under the Malaysian Roads Records Information System (MARRIS) for the Senadin constituency have been completed.
