MIRI: Piasau assemblyman, Datuk Sebastian Ting has applauded Miri Hospital for setting up a drive-through pharmacy for the convenience of patients and their representatives.

“No more queues and they don’t have to wait for hours to collect their medications,” he told reporters at the launch of the pharmacy on Monday (Dec 7).

Ting, who is also Assistant Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, added that in the past, patients from Bakong or Bekenu would arrive at the hospital as early as 4am just to get their queue numbers.

“The drive-through pharmacy helps to dispense medicines and is convenient for patients,” he added.

Also present at the launch were Miri Mayor, Adam Yii and director of Miri Hospital, Dr Jack Wong.
