Miri public library closed for sanitisation works

Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri as Pustaka Negeri Sarawak`s northern branch, it first opened its door to the public on 19 October 2002 and officially opened on 10 December 2002. Its functions are also in line with the Sarawak State Library Ordinance 1999.

MIRI: The public library in Jalan Bintang here is temporarily closed from Wednesday (Feb 9) until Feb 11 following its listing on the Covid-19 Hotspots Identification for Dynamic Engagement (Hide).

Premises that listed under Hide are ordered to be closed for three days for sanitisation purposes.

According to a brief statement released by the Miri City Council, the public library would reopen on Feb 12, a Saturday.
