
MUKAH: A sexagenarian who was reported missing in a forest near Kampung Kekan Dalat since yesterday, has been found safe and sound this morning.
Earlier, the 64-year-old victim is said to have gone into the forest around 8am and had not return home ever since.
His family members alerted authorities for search assistance.
Firemen from Mukah station received a distress call around 7.55am this morning pertaining to the incident and despatched a four-member team to the scene.
Upon arriving, the team was informed that the victim has been found safe and sound by the police and public in Setian Jaya plantation.
The victim was later taken to Mukah Hospital for a health check-up.
Following the discovery, the search operation ended at 10am.
