SIBU: A 70-year old man clad in a blue Barisan Nasional T-shirt and a pair of shorts, who was reported missing since last Saturday after going out of his longhouse at Sungai Naman, Kanowit, was found a day later.
The Fire and Rescue Department in its update yesterday said the old man was found at 12.19pm.
After receiving a distress call the department launched a search for the man identified as Rangai Setia.
Four firemen and 20 village people were involved in the search.
The man, according to family members, went out at 8am on Saturday to look for rottan in the jungle but did not return home as usual.
Family members also reported that the man, who is senile, had gone missing four times previously but was found each time by the longhouse folk.
