KAPIT: A man who was reported missing after he fell into Sungai Rejang here on Saturday was found dead by villagers today.
“The deceased identified as Bansa Judan,65, was found by villagers about 500 metres from where he reportedly fell,” Bomba operations commander said.
A Bomba team later retrieved the body from the river and took it to Kapit Wharf.
The search and rescue operation led by Senior Fire Officer II Perita Jepai with four firefighters in a boat ended at 11.40am, today.
