TANJUNG MANIS: A man who was reported missing in Sebakong river near Tusok longhouse here on Saturday (Jan 30) was found safe today (Jan 31).
The State Fire and Rescue Department operations centre said it had received a distress call on the incident at 9.40pm on Saturday (Jan 30).
According to the victim’s mother, her son went out to look for snails by the river at 1pm on that day and did not return home.
A team of firefighters from Tanjung Manis Fire and Rescue Station was deployed to the scene to look for the man.
At 12.52am today (Jan 31), the victim was found safe near the river.
