KUCHING: Established in 1981, MMS Education Placement Group has more than 30 years’ experience in servicing thousands of students and parents yearly for further education.

With branch offices in all major towns of Sabah and Sarawak, it is the pioneer of education placement services in East Malaysia.

The Education Placement Group organises MMS Education Fairs throughout Sabah and Sarawak thrice yearly in March, July and October to provide the opportunities for students and parents to find out more details on study options and pathways to match individuals’ interests, career plans, budgets and results.

MMS Education Fairs July 2019 have attracted universities and colleges from Australia, Singapore, UK, New Zealand, USA, Switzerland and Malaysia. The education fairs will take place on July 7 in Kuching,  July 11 in Bintulu, July 12 in Sibu, July 13 in Kota Kinabalu, July 15 in Tawau and lastly,  July 16 in Sandakan.

The organiser also reminds students to bring along their result slips or transcripts to seek offers and scholarship information.

“Most universities and colleges have intakes from March to October. This is a definitely a good opportunity for students to get the latest information and submit applications during the event,” said May Tan, Senior Operation Manager of MMS Education Placement Centre.

“Besides, students who are currently studying are encouraged to attend the education fairs as well in order to plan for their further studies in 2020. Some participating institutions will waive the application fee if students apply for admissions on the spot.

“Courses available at the education fairs vary from business, arts to sciences. Students will be able to obtain latest information at different education levels, from A Levels, Foundation, Diploma, Undergraduate Degree to Postgraduate Degree.

“Another attraction of the events is the scholarships and financial aids offered by various participating institutions.

“Studying overseas is often perceived as very costly for parents. However, the attractive scholarships, bursaries and incentives provided by the institutions ease parents’ burden in financing their children’s further education,” she added.
