Mohammad Nazmi, Alyssa tie nuptial knot

KUCHING: It was a night filled with love at the wedding reception of Mohammad Nazmi Aizuddin and Alyssa Ardynna Aminudine at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BBCK) on Saturday night.

The groom Mohammad Nazmi, the son of Second Minister of Resource Planning and Environment, Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and Datin Amar Dato Hajah Dayang Morliah Awang Daud, officially tied the nuptial knot last Saturday.

The wedding reception was attended of the Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud and wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajah Ragad Kurdi Taib, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Haji Johari Tun Openg and other distinguished guests.

The newlyweds arrived at the venue at 8.40pm in beautiful Malay traditional suit and dress designed by famous designer Michael Ong. Both will turn 30 this year.

The bride Alyssa is the daughter of Aminudine Sarbini and Sabtuyah Ibrahim.

The Great Hall of BCCK was filled with members and friends of both families, some of whom are living abroad.

Popular Malaysian singer Misha Omar made her appearance at the reception and rendered four songs, including her debut song, ‘Bunga Bunga Cinta’.
