KUCHING: A moment of silence was observed to remember a Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus student during today’s (Aug 30) graduation ceremony.

The late Adrian Prakasa was a student from Indonesia who pursued his tertiary studies at Swinburne Sarawak.

His brother Agung Saputra, 34, said he was very proud of his sibling’s achievement.

“I’m also honoured to be here to finish what he has earned. It’s just me and my father attending this graduation ceremony,” he said when approached by the media after the ceremony.

Agung said his brother passed away early January this year. However, he did not reveal much about the late Adrian’s health condition.

“Unfortunately, I can’t say much. Previously, there were the two of us, now it’s just me alone.”

The late Adrian graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics) and he was 22.
