KUCHING: Sarawak has declared Monday, November 28, as a public holiday.
The Premier of Sarawak’s Office in a statement today said the decision was in line with the announcement to the same effect by the newly-appointed Prime Minister last night.
Yesterday, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has declared a nationwide public holiday on November 28, after sworn in as Malaysia’s 10th prime minister.
Anwar said he has discussed the matter with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong as well.
