SIBU: More people are now aware of the importance of complying with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) during the recovery movement control order (RMCO), said Chairman of Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) Clarence Ting.
He told New Sarawak Tribune on July 1, “Since May 12, when the coffeeshops were allowed to receive dine-in customers, awareness of the SOPs has improved tremendously.”
Ting advised the public to continue complying with the SOPs such as social distancing and wearing of face masks to contain the spread of Covid-19.
“Stay safe, stay healthy,” he said.
