ASAJAYA: A couple was left with injuries following an accident along Jalan Samarahan-Asajaya, Teluk Sabang this afternoon (Dec 17).
The accident involving a motorcycle and a car is believed to have happened at around 2 pm.
A team from Civil Defence Force (APM) Asajaya was dispatched to the scene after receiving a distress call regarding the accident.
Upon arrival, they found the rider and his pillion rider seated by the roadside with their motorcycle.
Concerned passers-by were also at the scene to provide shelter for the victims with umbrellas.
Both of the victims were taken to Asajaya health clinic for further treatment. Their identities and extent of injuries are not known.
