MIRI: An 18-wheeler trailer caught fire after one of its rear tyres burst into blames near a longhouse in Sepupok Niah on Tuesday (April 26).
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. The vehicle was on its way to the city when it burst into flames.
Batu Niah fire station chief Rary Binjie said four of his men were despatched to the scene following a distress call at 5.10 pm.
The firemen managed to contain the fire in about 10 minutes.
