KOTA SAMARAHAN: Kota Samarahan MP Rubiah Wang has commended the frontliners, especially the police in maintaining the wellbeing and security in Samarahan during the Covid-19 crisis.

She noted that the vast areas and population of Kota Samarahan posed a huge challenge to the frontliners in ensuring that the population was safe from the pandemic.

“I am proud of our frontline personnel who are so resilient and responsible in carrying out their duties, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“I can feel the difficulties experienced by not only the health workers but also the police who have to work day and night to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the people,” she said.

She was speaking at the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry (Mafi) Prihatin contribution presentation ceremony to frontline workers at Kota Samarahan District Police Headquarters, here on Sunday (Oct 17).

“I am very proud that during the Covid-19 outbreak, the frontliners have provided undivided service in disaster management in our area,” she said.
