BALINGIAN: Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs) cum Mukah MP Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib has contributed necessities and cash to several fire victims at Kampung Lintang here.
The Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today (May 13) reported the Mukah Divisional Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) also presented donations in the form of cash to them.
The victims are thankful for the donations.
On Wednesday (May 12), 18 people managed to save themselves when their homes at Kampung Lintang, Balingian caught fire.
The Mukah Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) and the Balingian Volunteer Fire Brigade tried to put out the fire, which completely razed three houses while another house was partially destroyed.
