KUCHING: The Malaysia Red Crescent Society (MRC) Stampin District continues to play their part in assisting the frontliners, especially the police here during the Covid-19 pandemic.

With that, the non-governmental organisation distributed over 400 bottles of hand sanitisers to Kuching district police headquarters at Jalan Simpang Tiga here recently.

Kuching district police headquarters head of district management division DSP Rejali Angong received the hand sanitiser from MRCS Stampin District committee members Chew Kim Soon and Connie Tan.

It is hoped that the hand sanitiser could protect the policemen and policewomen when they carry out their duty during the pandemic.

The alcohol-based hand gel sanitiser, which contains one litre per bottle, was donated to the Malaysia Red Crescent Sarawak by Saraya Company of Japan through its subsidiary in Malaysia, Saraya Goodmaid (M) Sdn Bhd.
