SELANGAU: A grant from the Minor Rural Project (MRP) totalling RM260,000 was given to 23 village development and security committees (JKKKs) and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) here.
The allocation was handed over by Tamin assemblyman Christopher Gira Sambang during the Ngiling Bidai programme at Rh Ending, Ulu Dijih last Friday (July 1).
At the same ceremony, two students from SMK Ulu Balingian who had lost their father in a road accident also received help.
The donations were handed over to SMK Ulu Balingian principal Echi Tom.
