BAU: Grants were given to 24 recipients in Serembu under the Minor Rural Project (MRP) initiative.
Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) reported that Serembu assemblyman Miro Simuh presented cheques to the recipients, who included the Women’s Bureau (RM7,000), schools (RM10,000), while clubs, associations and the Village Development and Security Committee received RM10,000 in total.
Miro hoped that the grants would contribute to the development and implementation of programmes at the schools and villages in the area.
