MUKAH: MARA Junior Science College Mukah (MRSM Mukah) emerged champion of the Sarawak Chief Minister’s Cup Debate Competition (Zone G) held over the weekend.
It was indeed a double joy for the college as its team was not only the winner but also one of its debaters, Abdul Haqqim Bin Abdul Khaliddin, was adjudged as the Best Debater.
Other members of the winning team were Ahmad Musyraf Arasy bin Mustahid, Nur Alyanni bt Arshad and Khairil Haszuad bin Arni.
With the feat, the college took home RM1,500 and a crystal trophy each for the debaters while the Best Debater pocketed RM500 and a trophy.
Staged at the auditorium of RTM Sibu, the champion team was trained by teachers of the college, Adnan Zaroei and Safwan Razali.
