MUKAH: The Sarawak Ministry of Youth and Sports office here has not received any Sarawak Youth Venture Fund (SYVF) forms from applicants so far.

Officer in-charge Timothy Dominic Atong said no youth had come forward to ask for the forms yet.

He added that many forms were also distributed during a youth development programme in Matu recently.

“However, not a single form was returned to our office so far,” he said through WhatsApp yesterday.

New Sarawak Tribune asked him about the response from youth in the division regarding the SYVF.

The forms had been available at the ministry’s divisional office at Mukah Indoor Sports Hall here since Nov 21.

Timothy recently said forms could be obtained from the ministry’s office here during office hours.

He added that completed forms should be returned to the office here, or sent directly to Kuching.

On Nov 18, it was reported that funding was available for talented youths who wished to go into the arts and culture field.
