KUCHING: First Division Infantry Commander Major General Datuk Stephen Mundaw attended a briefing and dialogue session which was aimed at highlighting the six cores of the Ministry of Defence and also the Veteran Annuity Scheme (SAVe).

The event which was held at the 3rd Infantry Brigade’s Bukavu Hall in Penrissen Camp near here on Wednesday also offered opportunities for officers and staffs of the 3rd Infantry Brigade and the First Division Commander to ask and answer questions.

During the session, Stephen said that the First Division Infantry is always concerned for the welfare of its members under his command which is based on the six cores of the Defence Ministry. He also noted that the Ministry of Defence and those higher-ups will continue to work harder to provide the facilities for both serving and retired staff and officers.

Among the facilities which have been provided are SASaR Programme (providing affordable homes) and SAVe Programme (relates to the aspects of staff and officers pension and retirement). Also present was Commander of the 3rd Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Mohamad Bustaman Haji Mat Zin.
