SERIAN: A manhunt for Kampung Abit murder suspect came to an end as the man was taken into custody by Serian District Police yesterday.
Serian district police chief DSP Aswandy Anis said the arrest was made around 11.45am.
The 42-year-old from Kepulauan Lombok, Indonesia, did not have any legal traveling documents with him during his capture.
The arrest was carried out based on public feedback.
The man later brought the police to the crime scene and revealed the weapon used in the incident.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
