Mutang calls on Azerbajian PM

BAKU, AZERBAIJAN: President of the Malaysian Senate Datuk Mutang Tagal paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov on Wednesday.

During their discussions, Ali Asadov highlighted the importance of the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue held in Baku from Wednesday until today (May 3).

He thanked Mutang for taking part in the event, Both leaders lauded the existing friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Malaysia, particularly their robust cooperation in international organisations such as the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

They also welcomed the inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

Their conversations also touched on the potential for enhanced collaboration in various sectors, including trade, economy, investments, energy and humanitarian initiatives.
