KUCHING: Kampung Bumbok Community recently held a mutual assist activity to clear the compound of the St Maria Church here.
Ninety one volunteers from Kampung Bumbok turned up for the event which was also joined by Batu Kitang assemblyman Lo Khere Chiang.
“In Batu Kitang, our community is actively participating in programmes that promote cleanliness and environmental awareness, besides fostering a sense of care and responsibility towards the community.
“This activity makes me realise the closeness our community can achieve when we all have one common goal, which in this case to clean up St Maria. I hope we as one community will continue this effort and spirit towards being One Sarawak,” said Lo.
He also took the opportunity to wish everyone abundant blessings of love and joy.
