KUCHING: Top performing students from Chung Hua Middle School No. 1 were rewarded for their hard work on Tuesday as they received the Naim Foundation Academic Excellence Awards.

Eugene Lai, a recipient of the award who scored 8As in his exams, expressed his gratitude for having his efforts rewarded: “I’m very happy that my hard work has paid off – even a company like Naim has recognised it too!”

Another student, Stephanie Wong who also scored 8As in her exams, explained that the award was as an additional motivator for her to study harder.

Naim’s senior general manager for corporate communications, Caroline Yeo, said: “We are proud of what these students have accomplished and look forward to seeing more success stories in times to come. This is our way of assisting and motivating them to be the best they can be, in line with our philosophy of building value in every way for our communities.”
