KUCHING: Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi said he will resume work soon after undergoing a total knee replacement operation at Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

He conveyed his appreciation to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and his wife for checking on him.

“This afternoon, I received a call from the Prime Minister asking how I was and how I was doing after undergoing surgery a few days ago at HKL.

“I feel very touched by his concern and his wife who always cares about my health,” he said in a Facebook post on Tuesday (Mar 14).

The Kapit MP also mentioned he had shared with the Prime Minister about the facilities, hospitality and professional services he received during his stay at HKL.

“Thank you YAB Datuk Seri. Thank you, HKL. Thank you to everyone who prayed for me.

“I’ll be back in the office soon,” he said.

On Feb 12, Nanta told a local online portal that he had a fall in 1998 and had undergone an operation.
