KUCHING: The National Recovery Plan strategy is the best approach towards bringing the country out of the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.
Senior Minister (Infrastructure Cluster) Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said the initiative by the federal government must be supported by the public to ensure recovery.
“It is important for all levels of society to work together and give strong support for the success of the plan announced by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
“This is to ensure a common victory in bringing Malaysia out of the pandemic crisis that has plagued the country for more than a year,” he said in a Facebook post today (June 16).
The Petra Jaya MP said protecting lives and ensuring the people’s survival is the government’s priority at the moment.
He said such was incorporated in the formation of the recovery strategy as emphasised by the premier, which is also based on data and science as well as certain indicators.
“We have seen signs of a decline in infections since the movement control order 3.0 was implemented, however, we should not be complacent. Instead, we should continue to comply with the standard operating procedures.
“For those who have yet to register themselves for the vaccination, please do so immediately,” he said.
Fadillah said the nation is targeting to administer more than 300,000 doses of vaccine per day by the end of July.
“Let us work together and give our solid support for the success of the National Recovery Plan,” he said.
