SIBU: In conjunction with the tabling of the 2018 Budget by the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister of Malaysia, the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) is organising the National Tax Seminar 2017.
The seminar will be held from November 2-16 at 24 locations nationwide. In Sibu, the seminar will be held on November 9 at Kingwood Hotel from 8am to 5pm.
The seminar aims to provide clearer insights on amendment proposals to the Income Tax Act 1967 and any related acts during the tabling of 2018 Budget. Among the topics to be discussed during the seminar are the 2018 Budget Proposals and Tax Compliance: The Way Forward.
Taxpayers, tax practitioners, accountants, financial planners, company secretaries and directors and all those who are interested are urged to attend the seminars in order to update and widen their tax knowledge. Each participant will be charged RM350. For inquiries, contact 084- 238120/332292.
