THE upcoming State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting next month could see the tabling of several new government Bills.
Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Law, MA63, and Federal-State Relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, however could not confirm the matter.

“There is a possibility, but we have not been able to confirm it yet. It is possible that there are a few RUU (government bills) which will be tabled.
“For now, we are waiting for the pre-sitting meeting,” she said.
Refusing to elaborate further, she stated that no definite decisions have been made.
“However, we usually try to improve our laws according to the demands of time,” she added.
The second meeting of the first term of the 19th DUN session is scheduled to convene from May 17 to 26.
