MUKAH: The construction of a new building for SK Kampung Tellian has been completed.
The administrative building has started operations, and the new school will be able to accommodate around 200 students and teachers once the Covid-19 situation subsides.
Today (May 29) also saw the completion of the yellow zebra crossing in Kampung Tellian Tengah to control the flow of traffic there.
Prior to this, SK Kampung Tellian operated at the SK Mukah building as the old building was not safe to use in 2004, which is four kilometres from Mukah town.
The construction of the new school started on December 26, 2017 and was completed on December 26, 2019.
The new building will have 24 classrooms and other facilities for both students and teachers.
